From our 24/7 crisis hotline to emergency shelter, domestic violence services, and community outreach — CCSI provides a full Social Safety Net for Prince George’s County and beyond.
What We Offer
CCSI has been the first point of contact for those in crisis for over 50 years. Our programs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — because crisis doesn’t keep office hours.
Our crisis hotline is often the first point of contact for those in need of immediate support. Fully trained counselors are available around the clock to help individuals and families navigate their most difficult moments — with compassion, without judgment.
CCSI is the Lead Domestic Violence Agency in Prince George’s County. We provide a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, counseling, safety planning, and survivor support — because everyone deserves a safe and violence-free life.
As the first point of contact for shelter placement in Prince George’s County, CCSI operates the Warm Nights Shelter Program — the only year-round overnight shelter in the greater Metro DC region able to serve families with children.
Using a database of over 6,000 agencies and programs across Maryland, our 2-1-1 service connects people in need to mental health resources, housing assistance, food pantries, utility help, employment services, and much more.
CCSI offers community training and outreach programs that equip individuals, professionals, and organizations with the tools to recognize and respond to crisis. Together we build a stronger, more resilient community.
Our counselors are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Please reach out — we are ready to help.
CCSI’s programs are made possible by the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners. Your support keeps our lines open and our shelter doors open — every single day.
